The essentials
A few essentials before your first call or message. We always discuss the finer details individually.
Your choice depends on the sailing area, group size, pace and comfort you want. Sailing yachts offer atmosphere and wind-powered travel; catamarans offer space and access to secluded bays; motor yachts offer speed and flexibility. We will ask a few questions and suggest suitable options.
The final price depends on yacht type and size, season, sailing area, charter duration, crew and extras. Exact costs depend on the yacht and operator and will be set out in your proposal after we discuss your plans.
Before you confirm a booking, we clarify the key points:
- Security deposit amount and refund terms; separately, the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), where applicable
- Final cleaning and yacht handover procedures
- Crew or skipper arrangements and costs
- Fuel and running costs during the trip
- Extras: transfers, meals, activities and equipment
